New Jersey Might, Um, Not Exactly Be Spending Money on Stem Cells After All

Yup, the Jersey stem cell effort is in trouble. The problem is that they just don't have the money to build the stem cell research institute that they need in order to invest the $400 million budgeted by the state for the research. Why? You guessed it: the $380 million needed to support the $400 million research is not an easy matter to get through the legislature, because the conservatives who oppose the research have regrouped.
